Yesterday was Day 5 of the Fall 10×10 Wardrobe Challenge. Halfway through!
I paired a basic black camisole, with black jeans, and threw a plaid shirt-dress over the whole thing. I really like how it looks with the booths, but I actually switched my Frye boots for my Salome Buttero from Dr. Martens’ for the later half of yesterday, and grabbed a scarf to wear out for dinner. Which I’m very glad I did, because it got far colder than I was expecting.
This shirt-dress is also one of the newer pieces that I’m using this mini-capsule wardrobe to experiment with. But in reality, I’ve been wearing it pretty consistently every since I got it. I love that it’s light enough to wear with shorts, but also heavy enough to be a warm layer when it’s slightly chilly.
When I was planning my 10×10 mini-capsule wardrobe, the weather was going to be generally overcast in the 60s/70s this week, and then around the same temperature but sunny next week. So I knew I wanted pieces would layer, and also would work well on their own.
